OPENING HOURS

What are Yellow Petal’s opening hours?

Our studio hours are 9am-5pm (GMT), Monday - Friday. 

Yellow Petal cards are sold in 94 Coffee Shop in Waddesdon, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, which is open Wednesday - Sunday. Please refer to www.facebook.com/94coffeeshop/ for up-to-date opening hours.

Yellow Petal is closed for Bank Holidays, and for the Christmas holidays from Saturday 16th December 2022 returning Wednesday 4th January 2023.

All orders received outside of our usual operating hours or during holidays will be dispatched immediately on our return. 

How long will it take for my order of cards or gifts to arrive?

We aim to get all orders out within 1-2 days. However, this is dependent on Royal Mail and - due to the ups and downs of Royal Mail strike action, delivery times cannot be guaranteed within 5 days.

ORDERING

Do Yellow Petal deliver outside the UK?

No, we currently only deliver retail orders to the UK.

Wholesale orders can be delivered outside the UK using the Faire platform: https://yellowpetal.faire.com

How much do Yellow Petal charge for UK postage?

All standard orders to the UK will be delivered at a cost of £2, charged at the checkout.

Orders placed at a value of £15 up to £39 will be delivered FREE of charge.

Orders with a value of £40 and over will be charged a delivery fee of £10.  

We would advise you to contact us directly if placing an order over £50 to discuss a discount on the products and the delivery charge. 

How long will my Yellow Petal order take to reach me?

How do I cancel or return an order?

Obviously we hope you are delighted with the cards, however, if you’ve changed your mind please refer to our Returns page.

When will Yellow Petal refund me? 

Any refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the goods back in a saleable condition, please refer to our Returns page.

Does Yellow Petal set a minimum order quantity?

No, there is no minimum quantity per order but we’d love it if you bought lots! 

Can I add items to my existing Yellow Petal order?

If you contact us quickly after the time of ordering we may be able to add additional cards but this is not guaranteed. However, if the postage is likely to increase in price due to the new additional items then we would recommend you start a new order.

I am missing an item from my order what do I do?

If you have checked your order and something is missing then please first check if we have emailed you as the missing items may be dispatched separately. If you haven’t received a notification then please contact us immediately.

Will I get an invoice with my order?

Your invoice will be available to download at the end of the transaction and/or from logging into your account. It will also be emailed to you with your order confirmation. A paper invoice will not be supplied. If you cannot access your invoice please get in touch and we can send an electronic copy.

What if my goods arrive and they are faulty?

We put a lot of love into the creation of our original cards and take great care to package items securely for posting, however, damage sometimes happens. If goods arrive damaged then please contact us immediately with a description and images of the damage and we will do our best to help.

Will I be able to track my order?

We use Royal Mail 1st class post, which is unable to be tracked. Please see our Delivery page for more information.

Larger or trade orders can be tracked on agreement.

What happens if I‘m not at home when my order arrives?

Our cards are mostly posted in A5 envelopes so should fit through a standard letterbox. If you order more than 5 cards these will be posted in an A4 envelope which should fit through a standard letterbox. If you know it won't fit please let us know during the ordering process or afterwards by emailing us. Any large orders likely to be oversized will be flagged up during the checkout process.

Yellow Petal cannot take responsibility for there not being anyone at home to receive an oversized order. However, should you miss the delivery a card will be left by Royal Mail with a parcel number and using this you will be able to arrange a redelivery or collection from the local sorting office.

What if my Yellow Petal order doesn’t turn up?

We do our best to turn orders around quickly and get them to you within 3-4 days but there are some hold-ups to the postal system due to the ongoing pandemic. Please take a look at our Delivery page for more information if an order has not arrived within the advised timescale. We are grateful for your patience.

 

ABOUT OUR CARDS

What size are Yellow Petal greeting cards?

All of our cards are ‘A6’, 105mm x 148mm. They are either landscape or portrait format.

Are Yellow Petal cards eco-friendly?

All our original cards are printed onto ‘FSC certified’ paper stock - this means the card comes from well-managed or renewable sources. O Our note cards, some greeting cards and notebooks are printed on recycled paper. ur packaging is fully compostable – even the cellophane is biodegradable.

Are Yellow Petal cards thick or flimsy?

All of our cards are printed onto a minimum of 300gsm stock, a heavier quality card weight. Tintoretto Gesso is our favourite card - it has a lightly textured surface and the colours look vibrant yet classy!

Can Yellow Petal change the wording or personalise a card for me?

Please contact us directly if you would like a card personalised, the words changed or an original design. Additional charges will apply. (We're working on our personalisation services but at the moment this isn't possible to do through the website.)

Can I copy a Yellow Petal design and use it myself?

We’d really rather you didn’t copy or otherwise use our designs as it takes us a lot of time, effort and coffee to conjure up original ideas. Also copying, publishing, transferring, creating derivative works or distributing any of our designs without a license is not permitted under UK intellectual property law, 1988. 

Please get in touch you would like one of our original designs as a framed print, surfaced printed onto a different object, or personalised in any way, and we will do our best to help. If you would like to become a wholesale stockist or license our designs then please read our Wholesale page.

Do Yellow Petal cards look as good as they do on the website?

We think they look better! The images of the products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. We've made every effort to display the colours and print textures accurately, but we can't guarantee your computer display will reflect the printed cards accurately. Your products may vary slightly from the images on our site.

 

ACCOUNTS & PAYMENTS

Which cards or systems can I use to pay with?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Shopify Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal and Amazon Pay.

Do I need to set up an account when I shop?

Yes, at the checkout you will be asked to register an account. Please fill out the form with your name, email address and password of your choice. You have the option to receive our monthly newsletter.

Do Yellow Petal keep my details securely?

All transactions on our website are secured with industry standard encryption and when you purchase we do not store your credit card details. We don’t share your private details with any third party, other than the payment provider. Please refer to our Privacy policy.

What should I do if I can't sign in to my account?

If you have tried changing the password and that doesn’t work please contact us directly on hello@yellowpetal.co.uk and we will respond during working hours.

How do I redeem an offer code on the Yellow Petal website?

Offer codes can be input during checkout. Any problems, please get in touch.

How do I get a discount that’s promoted on the website or social media?

Discounts are applied during checkout. Any problems, please get in touch.

Why isn’t my discount code working?

Please check that you have input the letters and digits as supplied, for example, use capitals where indicated. Also check the expiry date and amount of times the code is able to be used as these are limited.

Do you offer a student discount?

We don't yet support student discounts but have offers throughout the year which might be suitable so please check back frequently.

Do you sell gift vouchers or gift cards?

Not yet but please check back as we may do in future.
